Real experiences we've created for people exploring Coole Park and beyond
Led over 120 participants through the 4km Main Loop Trail across 18 guided sessions. Each walk includes stops at Yeats' autograph tree and wildlife observation points, with expert guidance on native woodland ecology and literary heritage connections.
Designed and delivered a 6-week spring program focused on woodland plant identification. Participants learned to recognize 25+ native species and understand seasonal woodland cycles. Small groups of 8-12 people created intimate learning experiences.
Established an ongoing walking community with 35+ regular members meeting fortnightly. Developed accessible route options ranging from easy (2km, flat) to moderate (5km, gentle slopes), ensuring everyone finds a pace that works for them.
Launched a winter program teaching participants how to read the landscape for animal signs and behavior. Featured guided sessions focused on bird identification, animal tracks, and winter survival strategies in Irish woodlands. 42 participants across 8 sessions.
